Superb Food & Service.
A last-minute table reservation, they fitted us in for Sunday lunch.
Amy & Scarlet made us feel welcome despite being the last people for lunch.
Excellent fish & chips and the best nut roast I ever tasted!
Despite the Crown being on our doorstep, this is the first visit, but we will return SOON.

We travelled from Ipswich for a family lunch and had a reservation for Sunday roast. There was staff shortage and it took ages to get our order taken and then for food to arrive. Some items were sold out and unavailable, including meats, we had to improvise. Everything felt rushed. Don't go on a Sunday or make sure you are there first. We won't be returning.

Room was beautiful, clean, lovely shower, comfortable bed, all amenities you could need, tea making facilities, hairdryer, fan etc. Would recommend.

A well stocked bar with with a good variety of beers. Friendly service from bar staff with plenty of room to sit, chat and enjoy a drink.

The 2 of us popped in for lunch after not having been in for a few years and it was incredible. Great to see how much it has improved after being recommended by a friend again. It was mid week and fairly busy which is always a good sign out of season! We were greeted with a smile and sat down promptly. We were impressed with the menu that offered a brilliant range for everyone and I myself had the duck wrap with salad and chips was perfect for lunch. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back when in Woodbridge. Staff, food and service was all great. Cheers guys. See you soon for an evening meal!

Arrived for drinks 02.12.24 Sunday just after 12.00 service was terrible.Felt sorry for the young guy behind the bar,who was polite, but was making drinks for tables,where people had food And trying to make bar drink.Why was he left to do everything, with no help from the other lady,who I think was the manager ,when I asked if she could take my order,she barked at me no.

Perfect location in Woodbridge in this modernised hotel. Staff were super friendly and service quite relaxed and chilled out. Room was spacious and bed comfortable.

Took the hubby here for a last minute getaway, what can I say….. from start to finish it was a relaxing the atmosphere was amazing, staff were polite and attentive, and we had a truly fantastic time. Food and drinks were top class. We will definitely be back.

I’ve visited a number of times for food, not stayed over.
I’ll base this review on my most recent visit which was on a Sunday afternoon in October. We were out in Woodbridge and looked at the menu outside. We didn’t realise that Sundays was a set menu only (pictured) luckily we were happy to order from this menu.
The three of us went for Smoked Salmon & Crayfish Cocktail and Roast Beef (pictured)
I really enjoyed my starter the salmon was absolutely delicious! The bread and butter was tasty too, decent butter was used.
Absolutely loved my roast beef! The beef wasn’t too chewy and everything on the plate was very flavoursome.
Two courses for £26. Or three courses for £31.
I’d definitely visit again, although I think it should be made clearer before your seated, that its a set menu only on a Sunday :) See you again :)

This hotel is situated in the centre of Woodbridge. It offers excellent accommodation at a fair price. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need for a CV comfortable relaxing stay.
Little extras make it special.
The breakfast was amazing!! locally sourced ingredients are well cooked and presented. Sets you up for the day.
Staff are kind, courteous and professional.
We can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely experience at The Crown in Woodbridge, starting with some very nice pre-dinner drinks. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, perfect for unwinding before a meal. The staff provided excellent service from the moment we arrived, making us feel welcome and well looked after.
One of the standout features was the detailed menu, which had a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Their cocktail selection, in particular, was impressive – a mix of classics and creative options that were well-crafted and delicious.
Overall, it’s well worth a visit if you’re looking for a spot with great service, a cozy atmosphere, and a fantastic selection of drinks. We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely Pub right in the heart of Woodbridge with ample off road parking. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms can get very hot but they do provide a (large!) fan. Whether you get a bath with shower or walk in shower depends on the room you are in.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately our evening meal was disappointing and the bar was empty by 10pm which was a shame as we thought we'd be having a nightcap in a lively atmosphere. Our room was gorgeous and quiet for most of the night and although it was nothing to do with the hotel we got woken up at 5am with a couple having a full blown loud conversation underneath our window so had an unsettled night other than that couldn't fault the room we had a comfortable bed and it was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good which made up for our evening meal.

Food pricy , the nastiest part is , they have employed the use of a very dubious company to manage the car park , even though I registered my car I got nasty threatening letters from this company over the last 7 months demanding huge amounts of money and court action, I personally would never use the Crown again
